Hey Tranny it's Tranny Recap

Amoania & Devil Eyes

Hey Tranny it's Tranny this year was a roaring success! With your help we were able to raise $2,300 for Gay City Health Project, that may not sound like the craziest numbers but for small non-profits here on the hill that do so much for the community, it really makes a big difference!

Special thanks and shout outs to our amazing DJ's, Devil Eyes, Amoania, and the gorgeous Phyllis Navidad who came all the way up from L.A. just for us. Hey Tranny would have been nothing without them or our amazing go-go dancers Kerry Niesen and Adaam King, our flawless host Jinkx Monsoon, our amazing performers Jackie Hell, Ursula Major, and Ade, our outside dance party DJ's Nitty Gritty (Sophisticated Mama's soul dj, Thursday nights at Havana), and Generalmeow, my setup crew Thomas Colonna, Erik Ellefsen and Maxwell Brisben, everyone that was willing to slap their face on a Hey Tranny flier, all our promotional and loving support provided by anyone such as the Hard Times Crew, Adrian Ryan of The Stranger, Seattle Gay Scene and more, everyone that loaned any equipment, Havana and all their staff for providing a great venue and atmosphere, Gay City for helping put the word out, and most of all YOU for turning out those amazing looks and supporting our community!

On a side note, there's an interesting poll going around (click here) on Facebook started by The Social about who our favorite DJ's in Seattle are, let's put the Hey Tranny crew Amoania, Nark and Devil Eyes at the top along with all your other favorite Capitol Hill tunewizards (Skiddle, L.A. Kendall, Brian Lyons, Colby B, Riff-Raff, Blueyedsoul? You know who you love!)

Please join me next Wednesday at Nectar Lounge in Fremont, where I will be DJ'ing for an amazing lineup of bands including Sports, Jeffrey Jerusalem (of Yacht), and the a-m-a-z-i-n-g Jessica 6, all live for you Wednesday July 6th, just 7 boners to get in.

Also keep an eye out as Nark Magazine.com will soon be going through some major changes!
